Children's Ministries Volunteer - Could this be for you?
Parents, Grandparents, College Students, there are plenty of Sunday School volunteering opportunities for you. An opportunity to make a difference and a way to leave a lasting legacy to the children at EUMC. As a church, we owe the children an opportunity to participate and grow in Christ in ways more suited to their needs.
Are you looking for a place to serve? We are staffing our different children's ministries programs for 2010 and 2011 school year. We invite you to prayerfully consider volunteering in one or more of the following areas.
Rotation Sunday School
EUMC's Rotation Sunday School takes place during both services for K-6th Grades . Rotation Model Sunday School. This Workshop Rotation Model, using a curriculum called Cornerstones, allows children to learn and retain Biblical concepts through a variety of learning styles by rotating through various experience stations over a four to six week period. The Biblical concept and story are the same for each week, but taught in different, relevant and exciting ways by teachers gifted and passionate about their particular workshop. The non-traditional classrooms include a Movie Theater, Computer Lab, and Kitchen, along with other classroom environments that allow the children to learn through video, computers, cooking, nature, drama, dance, puppets, music, art, and games.
