Rotation Sunday School - An Experiential Learning Program.
|
|
Children experience the same Bible story/concept for 3-6 weeks in various learning centers or workshops such as: drama, music/dance, art, computers, puppets/storytelling, games, theater and cooking. “Instructors” stay in the same room, preparing an activity (with age - appropriate modifications) for the 3-6-week rotation. “Shepherds” provide a consistent and nurturing relationship for their class for an entire school year. In addition to the workshops listed above, there is an optional mission workshop 10:30 a.m. to accommodate children who might be attending both hours of church. We feel this will allow parents to join an adult class as well as attend worship. |
