from the youth program at EUMC? Use the back to share your hopes and
dreams for EUMC Youth!

Parents
of Youth and Interested Others:
Our
safe-church policy states that: No
fewer than two adults (unrelated to one another) will be present at
all times during any church-sponsored program, event, or ministry
involving Children, Youth & Vulnerable Adults (CYVA), including
overnight trips, off premises activities or group gatherings.
With
this ratio of adults to Youth:
5th-8th grades -2 adults for 1st 14
youth (1 for every next 7) and Youth 9th-12th
grades - 2 adults for 1st 16 youth (1 for every next 8)
Please
contact the church office if you would like a copy of the
safe-church policy.
PARENTS: Remember that these activities require adult
supervision for the safety of all involved. YOUR participation is key!
Please plan to take your turn with our youth.

Study
Pastor Serena will lead Bible Study Wednesday nights
7-8PM in the Jr. High Room.
|

Sunday
School We
will not have Sunday school this Summer, until we get some
teachers. The Youth Ministries team will begin looking
for teachers soon, and if we can find them, we will offer
Sunday School at that time.

Youth Announcements:
A CHANGE IN PLANS: Sunday night
(8/24) we will be having Youth Group. The calendar shows no youth
group, but we are meeting anyway. We will meet from 6 PM
until 8:30 PM.
We will be going up to Driftwood Theatre to watch a musical revue starring
none other than our very own Thomas McLellan. The show starts at 7
PM and it is over at 8 PM. Bring $5 for the cost of the show.

PLEASE STAND: Youth Scripture Readers wanted. The youth
will be reading scripture in Worship one week per month. If you
would like to be on the list to read please email Pastor Serena at serenas@edmondsumc.org or call her at 425-778-2119.

FISH? REALLY?: Tuesday (8/26) we
will meet at 2 PM and be back at the church at 6 PM. This is a new
twist on a fun event that you will not want to miss. Clue: We
will book it downtown and act like fish!

LARRYBOY CAN’T WAIT: Thursday night
(8/28) at 9 PM we will be watching a medley of "Veggie Tales".
Come and relive your younger days with some of your favorite old shows.
We will be done around 11 PM.
