Alzheimer's Education

Alzheimer's Education

In collaboration with the Washington State Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the Adult Spiritual Formation Advisory Committee of the Edmonds United Methodist Church will sponsor a three-session series of classes about Alzheimer’s. The classes are based on best practices and the latest research findings. Our Guest Speaker will be Hazel Borden, MBA, Snohomish County Community Outreach Coordinator, Alzheimer’s Association of Washington State

Each session will be approximately two hours long with time built in for questions and discussion. The sessions will be held in our Sanctuary on Fridays, March 13, 20, 27, at 10:30 a.m.

Sacred Storytelling: Listening, Understanding, Sharing

Sacred Storytelling: Listening, Understanding, Sharing

Stories give meaning, hope, purpose, and connection. Join us to better understand the structure and significance of stories and narratives to our identities and our society. We will practice listening, understanding, and sharing our own stories to lean into the full power of sacred storytelling. No experience necessary—only a willingness to play and learn! Co-facilitators: Courtney Wooten and Ann Jacob
