Sunday School

Sunday School

On Sundays throughout the school year, kids ages 3 – 8th grade are invited to Sunday School during the 9:00 and the 10:30 worship services. At 9:00 a.m. all ages gather together for an experience of Godly Play. Godly Play helps kids explore their faith through stories, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. At 10:30 a.m., children in preschool – 2nd grade experience Godly Play as well. Children in grades 3 – 8th learn from Shine Curriculum, a Mennonite offering that calls children to experience the transforming power of God’s love by cultivating the inner life of the Spirit through spiritual practices; and expressing faith through lives of compassionate peacemaking and service

With this ratio of adults to Youth: 5th-8th grades -2 adults for 1st 14 youth (1 for every next 7) and Youth 9th-12th grades - 2 adults for 1st 16 youth (1 for every next 8). And with parental permission, two adults are required to be present when traveling with youth in a car or van.
