General Conference Action Throws United Methodist Denomination into Turmoil

At the 2019 General Conference of the United Methodist Church an action was adopted to approve stiff penalties to pastors and bishops who disobey church law on inclusion of LGBTQ people into church. In the meantime, our Church Council will consider what appropriate actions are next as we fulfill our commitment to full inclusion of our LGBTQ members at the March meeting.
