The Toy Shop

The Toy Shop is a community outreach ministry that serves families of the Edmonds Food Bank, Washington Kids in Transition, and others in the community during the Christmas season. Those in need are invited to attend a one-day event where volunteers provide hospitality and assist in helping parents to choose gifts for their children. We are expecting to serve between 800-1,000 children at the toy shop this year.

Sign-ups for registration, set-up, & event day - Dates to Remember:

  • Sign-up using the linked images above that will take you the Signup Genius Form
  • In-person sign-ups will be held on Sundays in November following each service at 10:00am and 11:30a.m.
We have a strong need from volunteers to translate for Spanish and Russian-speaking families on Food Bank Client Registration Days.

Toy Donations

A Giving Tree will reside in the church entrance starting the first week in November. The Giving Tree will have ornaments with information on gift needs for specific ages.

  • After-worship Toy sales – if you don’t have time or just don’t know what to get - find something at the after-worship toy sales held in November outside the Sanctuary in the narthex.
  • Amazon wish list. How easy is this? Place an order and have it shipped to the church. It’s that simple.

Used items should be in “gift-giving” condition (gentle wear is okay, but please no holes, stains, broken piece, etc.)

Toy Shop Client Requirements

To be eligible to receive toys from the Toy Shop:

  • Clients must be registered with the Edmonds Food Bank or with Washington Kids in Transition.
  • A client must register for the Toy Shop themselves (A friend or family member cannot register for you and you cannot register for someone else.)
  • The Toy Shop is only for parents/guardians and their children, no extended family.
