Youth Ministries

EUMC Youth is more than just a youth group - it's a family. We welcome and embrace every 7th-12th grader who walks through the door. This is a place where God meets us - in how we build community, worship, and serve the world around us. EUMC youth experience God through small groups, bonding events, and mission and service to those who need it most. Text "@eumyf" to 81010 (Remind app) to get weekly texts of our activities, or email us to receive our weekly newsletter, linked below. Music, Worship, and Teaching Sunday School

You guys are a part of this Church, even beyond Youth Group - and we need you!
  • Special Intergenerational Service Project - "Learn to Do Stuff" - Teach a skill, learn a skill, Help those in Need, Video it, and YouTube it. If you have ideas, or want to be part of this exciting new effort, email or text "I wanna YouTube EUMC!" to Greg (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
  • Jennifer would love youth to help with Sunday School for younger kids, leading Godly Play and Shepherding the classes. This counts for Volunteer service hours. Email her to sign up!
  • You can also sign up to help in worship in many, many ways, from scripture reading, AV support work, joining the church choir, ushering, or more. Email Greg to Learn More.

Safe Church Policy

EUMC's safe-church policy states: No fewer than two adults (unrelated to one another) will be present at all times during any church-sponsored program, event, or ministry involving Children, Youth & Vulnerable Adults (CYVA), including overnight trips, off premises activities or group gatherings. With this ratio of adults to Youth: 5th-8th grades -2 adults for 1st 14 youth (1 for every next 7) and Youth 9th-12th grades - 2 adults for 1st 16 youth (1 for every next 8). And with parental permission, two adults are required to be present when traveling with youth in a car or van.
